Hearing Officer Jill Cenamo opened the June 3 meeting of the Grand Junction Liquor Licensing Authority and read four license renewal applications into the record. After Deputy City Clerk Misty Williams verified that the applications were in order, the authority approved renewals for the following businesses as requested: JAWS Brewing, LLC dba WestCo Brewing Company (905 Struthers Avenue) — Brew Pub; J & K Enterprises, Inc. dba Citrolas (759 Horizon Drive, Units M–O) — Hotel & Restaurant; Munchies Burgers, LLC dba Munchies (383 29 Road) — Beer & Wine; and Mesa Spa & Nails, LLC dba Mesa Spa & Nails (2695 Patterson Road, Units 7–8) — Beer & Wine.
The approvals were recorded with no public opposition; the minutes note that Cenamo asked whether anyone was present to speak against any of the applications and that no one did. The minutes do not record a motion maker, second, or a roll-call vote for these approvals. The action is recorded simply as "Renewals 1 – 4 were approved as requested."
The renewals keep the businesses' existing license types in place and allow each to continue serving under the same classifications listed in the applications. The licensing authority did not attach conditions or additional restrictions in the minutes. The meeting adjourned at 2:08 p.m.
