Board approves $435,529 in claims, awards East Side Drive contract and accepts two Secondary Roads resignations

The Audubon County Board of Supervisors on May 26 approved payment of departmental claims totaling $435,529 and moved forward on several road projects and personnel changes.

Chairman Kent Grabill called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m. and the board approved the agenda. On a motion by Supervisor Don Mosinski, seconded by Supervisor Heath Hansen, the board approved the claims as submitted "to be paid in the amount of $435,529.00" and approved the May 19, 2026 meeting minutes; the minutes record each vote as "all in favor." Engineer Mitch Rydl provided Secondary Roads updates and the board approved pay estimate #1 for the LE-8 bridge project.
