The Cudahy Common Council approved a set of summer event permits, business licenses and parking-lot uses during its Feb. 17 meeting. Actions included approval of a temporary extension of premises for Alex Ahmad’s City Lounge for July 11, 2015; a Class B Combination license for Melissa Wolff as agent for JC’s Blue Collar Pub; use of a parking lot for City Fest; a bicycle race through the city on May 31; and a farmers market at the parking lot south of the Cudahy Family Library each Wednesday from June 3 through Oct. 28 between 3:30 and 8:30 p.m.
Votes varied by item: several approvals were unanimous; others recorded abstentions from Alderperson Hollenbeck. For handfuls of routine permits and communications the council approved the Rules, Laws & License Committee minutes and authorized a Facebook page for the Packard Avenue Reconstruction Project.
