The board authorized purchase of the scanner, with members noting the town could recoup some cost by charging fees for copies and that the purchase will modernize recordkeeping.
Board members said the hazard grant process is routine, the emergency sewer expense addressed immediate operational needs, and the scanner purchase will assist long-term records management.
