Township meeting approves Big Time Management subdivision after planning commission recommendation

Tammy, a meeting presenter, told the township that the subdivision plan for Big Time Management Group LLC (listed as 8835, 8845, 8855 and 8859) was received April 16 and had been recommended for approval by the planning commission on May 11 and reviewed by Erie County Planning on May 19. "We received this plan on April 16th. Went in front of the planning commission. They did recommend approval on May 11th," Tammy said.

An owner of the property described the change as dividing buildings from the larger acreage to create a single rear lot that separates commercial parcels from adjacent agricultural land. "It was basically two separate parcels and I'm just basically cutting the buildings from the whole acreage and making the back lot ... one big lot," the owner said, explaining the intent was to isolate the vacant/agricultural portion from the commercial corridor.

After the presentation the board considered a motion to approve the subdivision. A committee member moved, another seconded, and the chair called for a voice vote; the motion carried.

The planning commission recommendation and the county review were cited as the primary basis for approval. The board did not record roll-call vote counts in the transcript. The board discussion was limited to clarifying the lot lines and confirming the planning process; no conditions, amendments or appeals were recorded. The board moved on to other agenda items after the vote.
