Plymouth staff review site map as website rebuild moves into content phase

Len said the vendor gave an estimated 6–8 week timeline for the content review, but emphasized that the schedule depends on how quickly department staff supply their input. Committee members raised usability concerns observed on the current site — for example, that some department pages offer no clear way to return to the township homepage — and urged tighter integration so users can navigate easily between the township, community center and police pages.
Members recommended a staged review (an early checkpoint after the first development step and a later review toward project close) and suggested collecting a list of desired photos for the site that reflect different neighborhoods. The committee asked staff to continue the department consultations and return with a refined timeline and sample pages at follow-up meetings.
