Pat Brown School of Dance to host master-class workshop and launch inclusive 'dance from your seat' program

The program supplies gloves and tap boards so participants who use wheelchairs or prefer to remain seated may participate; the studio said it has interest from a nursing home and plans to add the class to regular scheduling once details are finalized.
The studio is preparing its next season schedule, which the Turners expect to publish by June 12. Registration for the workshop and adaptive classes will be handled through the studio website or by phone; costs vary by class and are listed online.
The Pat Brown School of Dance is entering its 62nd year in Jackson and said it continues to offer community-accessible programming.
