The Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners voted to approve transfers, the bill list and payroll after the township manager reviewed fund-by-fund totals. The transcript lists fund amounts for general, solid waste, sewer, capital projects, open space (two funds), payroll and developer escrow, with a combined total for all funds of approximately $1,233,261.63.
Following the finance vote, department representatives offered brief updates. The Community Development Department said the planning commission agenda for next Tuesday will be finalized by Friday and that land development plans could appear on the January workshop agenda. The township’s engineering representative welcomed new board members and confirmed continued work with the township’s engineer. The solicitor and township manager had no substantive reports.
The board announced its next regular meeting is Jan. 15, 2026 at 6 p.m. and a workshop on Jan. 26, 2026 at 6 p.m., noted there was no executive session and adjourned.
Why it matters: Approval of the bill list authorizes about $1.23 million in township spending and payroll; planning and engineering updates flag potential land development items coming before the planning commission and board.
The meeting ended without an executive session.
