The Township of Washington Planning Board on June 3 considered amended ordinance 26-11, which modifies zoning provisions tied to a townhouse proposal at 370 Pasc Road (block 2329, lot 2). Planner Joe Burgess summarized the changes and the board voted to recommend the ordinance to the Township Council.
Burgess said the ordinance adjusts the unit count to 72 (down from a previously noted 73), reduces the minimum setback between buildings from 24 feet to 22 feet to accommodate a minor design shift, and clarifies driveway and parking setbacks — maintaining a 20-foot setback where lots border residential uses and allowing a 15-foot setback where lots border nonresidential uses.
No members of the public spoke during the public comment period for this ordinance. After a brief discussion the board approved the motion to recommend amended ordinance 26-11 and adopted resolution PB-26-22 by roll call.
Next steps: the recommendation will be forwarded to the Township Council for final action and any associated site-plan review will follow the council decision.
