The board accepted staff and town-counsel review and moved, seconded, and voted to endorse the plan. Earlier in the night, the board also voted to accept an applicant's request to extend an action deadline to Sept. 16, 2026.
ZBA comments and referrals: The board voted to send 'no comment' on the 7476 North Street ZBA application (demolish/rebuild two-family), and it noted concerns about a corner-lot garage variance application where a utility pole depicted in the applicant's site plan could obstruct driveway access; staff was asked to flag that issue to the applicant. On Seabeds Way, the board voted to advise the ZBA of the town's policy preference for underground utilities and expressed concern about the potential impact of overhead poles on mature trees if the applicant's request to allow overhead lines were granted. That motion passed with one board member recorded as opposed.
Minutes and adjournment: The board approved minutes for April 7 (one abstention by a member who was not present at that meeting) and April 28. The meeting adjourned at about 9:13 p.m.
