The Design Review Board approved a plan to place planters outside a Stout St. store at 66 New Town Lane after the store manager, Marco Hernandez, described sizes and materials for the proposed planters.
Hernandez said the planters will be similar to existing examples on 23, that two planters will be 20 inches wide by 20 inches tall at a rear entrance and that the front will have six planters: two 10"x10", two 15"x15" and two 10"x10". He told the board the planters are concrete and therefore heavy enough to remain in place.
Board members raised no material objections and approved the application by motion and voice vote. The approval authorizes installation of the specified planters; any change to size, material or placement would require return to the board.
