Library director urges Riverview residents to join summer reading program starting June 15

Zita thanked numerous sponsors, saying many are Riverview businesses and listing contributors that include Brooke Parker (individual), Brewers Ice Cream, CE Rains Company, Climpmping Critters, Comics Oasis 2, Ella and Tylie's Fruits and Lemonade Stand, Marco's Pizza, Eminem 10-minute oil, Nick's Gas and Auto Repair, Non's Children's Store, Parthonon Coney Island, Peanut Butter Taco, Premier Pet Supply, The Golf Course in Riverview, Riverview Nutrition, Riverview Pizza Place, Riverview Towing, Savvy Sliders, Starbucks, Timeout Sports Barbershop and Zorba's Coney Island, plus outside partners Another Look Books, Brookbooks, The Library Network and the Lit literary hideaway. Zita said the program received almost $5,000 in combined gift cards and money; she also noted that Marco's contributed about $2,000 (the transcript records the phrase "free cine" for that particular contribution).
Mayor and council members thanked Zita for the work and the breadth of community support. No budget or additional city funding for the program is recorded in the meeting segment provided.
