Isabella (Bella) Chandler said AVID was more than a checklist of traits and described how teachers and the program community helped her gain confidence and public‑speaking skills. Other seniors recounted AVID’s role helping first‑generation students navigate college applications and financial aid.
Board members thanked presenters and praised the students’ essays and program outcomes.
