The district's 403(b)/457 committee has recommended the National Public Pension Fund Association (NPPFA) as Community High School District 94's retirement-plan provider, administration told the board.
Committee members reviewed vendor responsiveness, employee education and support, investment flexibility, administrative services and compliance support. Administration said NPPFA was recommended because it could provide expanded retirement education, enrollment assistance and long-term partnership support tailored to public-sector employees.
The administration told the board it will ask for a formal resolution naming NPPFA as vendor at the June 16 board meeting and that, if approved, the district anticipates beginning implementation and transition work over the summer months with initial staff education sessions in August or September 2026. The committee will continue to meet to review participation levels and employee feedback during and after implementation.
Ending: The board took no vote on the recommendation at this meeting; administration will present a resolution for action on June 16.
