Mayor DC Reeves details Palafox Street work: tables removed Jan. 2, parking restricted Jan. 4, work begins Jan. 5

"We will have the outside tables removed by the small businesses on January 2nd. We will have no parking on Palafox starting at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4th," Reeves said, and noted that construction crews will begin work on Jan. 5.
Reeves emphasized that sidewalks will remain open throughout the project so pedestrians can continue to access shops and restaurants. He also said the city is aiming for an "incentivized completion date" of May 24 and encouraged residents to continue supporting small businesses during construction.
