Larry Kane, representing his father George Kane (the property owner), testified that the proposed patio would be built flush to grade and is not visible from neighboring houses. He said the change would improve access and usability for his father. Board members asked whether the patio could be reduced along one side — removing roughly six feet across an estimated 22–25-foot span — and requested an updated survey to confirm the revised footprint.
The board agreed to keep the record open until the revised survey is filed; after receipt the board will close the record and consider approval.
