She broke down the FY26 flood-recovery funding as approximately $2,700,000 from lottery proceeds and about $2,800,000 from regular fund balance, and said the county hopes to recoup some of the fund-balance spending in FY27.
Pam said the purchases and emergency procurements had already been approved during the fiscal year and that this amendment is primarily an accounting action to document the expenditures for FY26. The transcript records staff presenting these figures and noting the item will be on the action agenda next week for formal amendment approval.
Commissioners had no substantive objections during the discussion and said the flood work completed over the past year had been necessary; staff will bring the formal amendment for board action at the next meeting.
