Commission recommends cash park-dedication for Pines Landing subdivision after tree-mitigation discussion

The director also identified two variances the developer is seeking: a nontraditional (narrower) lot width and a cul-de-sac length slightly longer than the typical standard. Staff explained the advisory commission reviews park- and trail-dedication issues first; planning commission will consider variances and other development approvals in the next meeting, and council would consider final approvals thereafter.
A motion "to accept cash dedication for the parks and trails on this development proposal" was made by Chair Palmer and seconded. The chair called the vote and members voiced 'aye'; the chair announced the motion passed.
