The Intergovernmental Committee recommended favorable action for two nominees to the Historic District Commission.
Caitlyn Gley, a Ward 1 resident, said she holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural studies and art history and a master’s in urban planning, described work as a preservation planner in Boston and for the state division of statewide planning, and told the committee she provides technical assistance to municipalities on comprehensive plans.
Tyler Bomb, a Providence‑based practicing architect at DBVW Architects with 13 years of experience and local ties to Edgewood and the Gatsby area, described his background in historic preservation and said he is eager to help preserve local historic assets.
Both appointments were recommended by committee for council confirmation and subsequently approved by the full council.
