Finance committee approves minutes, treasurer report referral, multiple assessment appeal actions

The committee approved two appraisal-agreement items with Indian Valley tied to taxpayer appeals (items 3C and 3D; motion by Mr. Bell, seconded by Mr. McBain). It also approved an assessment appeal settlement that will result in $9,554 of taxes due to the district (item 3E; motion by Mr. Rush, seconded by Miss Coin) and an assessment adjustment going forward for a retirement-community property (item 3F; motion by Mr. Rush, seconded by Miss Coin). All recorded motions carried with no nays reported in the committee transcript.
These actions will be reflected in the full board materials for the June 18 board meeting and any items requiring final approval will be brought forward at that time.
