County approves consent calendar, commissioners issue fire-season advisory

"A moderate fire danger rating means fires can start from most accidental causes ... Fires in open dry grasslands will burn briskly and spread quickly on windy days," he said, and he gave his evacuation zone as GRA231.
Another commissioner thanked Richardson and urged caution during what he called an "extremely dry year," noting their own evacuation zone as GR168. Commissioners emphasized forest-thinning and safe behavior around campfires and yard work.
