Commissioners approve covenant revocation for subdivision, confirm board appointments and authorize road‑work task order

Jefferson County commissioners on a routine agenda vote approved revoking an agricultural covenant for a 67‑acre property so the owner may proceed with subdivision review, appointed multiple residents to county boards, and authorized a consultant task order to scope road work in the County Line subdivision.

The board moved and approved a motion to lift the agricultural covenant for the parcel held by SNH Land LLC, subject to findings and conditions and the standard subdivision review process. County planning staff told the commission the revocation is the first step so the applicant can move forward with subdivision engineering and surveys; the parcel would be split into two lots if subdivision review succeeds.

Commissioners also voted to appoint Bruce Pera, Christina Vowski and Patricia Lewis to the tipping board and to designate William Gillespie to the weed board; those motions were seconded and carried without extended discussion.

On infrastructure, the commission approved Great West task order no. 9 to assess and design road‑maintenance work for the County Line rural maintenance district. Staff said the project scoping and subsequent bids will be sized to available RMD funds; the task order’s cost will be paid from the rural maintenance district account rather than the county general fund.
