The commission approved a pair of temporary fireworks sales operations—one at Pick N Save and one at Walmart—scheduled for June 23–July 5; staff said inspectors will conduct spot checks to ensure only permitted fireworks are sold under city and state rules.
All of these items were advanced with standard conditions and technical review requirements (permits, inspections and compliance with the city’s design and safety codes).
