Receiver of Taxes says town’s new water/sewer billing system is live; online features due in August

Receiver of Taxes Jody Kivett told the La Grange Town Board on June 3 that Phase 1 of the town’s water and sewer billing software upgrade is complete and that, starting this month, all quarterly bills will be generated from the new system.
Kivett said account holders will receive new account numbers and should update records accordingly. She said Phase 2 of the upgrade is scheduled for August and will allow residents to register to view full bills online, sign up for automatic bill pay, adjust pay-thresholds, and change bill delivery preferences. The town will notify those registered when the final phase goes live via the LaGrange delivery service on the town website, lagrangeny.gov.
Kivett asked residents to register for updates with the Public Works Department and other departments of interest through the town website. The presentation drew no formal board questions and was followed by standing public-comment items.
The board did not take a vote on the software rollout itself; the update was informational and intended to prepare residents for the August features and new account numbers.
