Staff confirmed the county currently has two moratoria in place: one covering solar systems (including battery and storage) and a separate moratorium for data centers while ordinances are drafted by planning and zoning.
On administrative items, staff reported 12 complete applications have been received for the Citizens Review Committee and will be forwarded to commissioners for review, with a June 30 deadline for applications. Staff also briefed the board on a website redesign kickoff: discovery and design will take roughly six to eight weeks, development five to eight weeks, migration and QA follow, and a target 'go live' date in December was discussed. Department heads will be asked to nominate content reviewers.
