The Joint Review Board for Huntley’s Downtown Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District approved its June 28, 2023 meeting minutes and unanimously accepted the FY23 TIF compliance report during a brief meeting on June 27, 2024.
The vote came after Chairperson Timothy Hoeft asked for a motion to accept the annual TIF compliance report for fiscal year 2023. Board Member Frank Novak moved to accept the report and Board Member Scott Ravagnie seconded; Board Members Ravagnie, Crowe, Novak and Chairperson Hoeft voted yes (4–0–0).
Earlier in the meeting, a motion to approve the June 28, 2023 Joint Review Board meeting minutes was made by Board Member Scott Ravagnie and seconded by Board Member Scott Crowe; that motion also carried unanimously (4–0–0).
Assistant Director of Finance Kristi Ward-Nickels provided a written summary of the 2024 budget and project report for the Downtown TIF District. The minutes record that no questions or comments were noted following the presentation, and no members of the public offered public comment during the meeting.
In attendance were Huntley Village President and Chairperson Timothy Hoeft; Board Member Scott Crowe (Huntley Park District); Board Member Scott Ravagnie (Huntley Fire Protection District); and Board Member Frank Novak (Huntley Area Public Library). Representatives from McHenry County, McHenry County College #528, Grafton Township, McHenry County Conservation District and Huntley School District #158 were listed as absent. Village staff present included Deputy Village Manager Lisa Armour, Director of Finance Cathy Haley, Assistant Director of Finance Kristi Ward-Nickels, Director of Development Services Charles Nordman, Assistant Director of Development Services Scott Bernacki and Senior Planner Nicholas Arquette.
With no further business, Board Member Scott Crowe moved to adjourn, Board Member Scott Ravagnie seconded, and the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 3:05 p.m. The minutes were submitted by the Assistant Director of Development Services for the Village of Huntley.
