Matt Kleczka spoke for the applicant (Bargain Molding), describing the company’s distribution area (Long Island, New York City region and Connecticut) and the staging of materials such as PVC and molding at the Bayview site. Board members and the Code Enforcement Office discussed the need to clean up the property and repair fencing; the applicant said cleanup is already underway.
The board’s approval includes a limit on stored material height (no higher than 12 feet), a prohibition on containers or sheds without approval from the Board of Trustees, a four‑year duration (or until change of ownership), and a requirement to conform to Village, State and local codes. The permit notes the schedule of truck movements: larger trucks returning from Connecticut at about 2:00 p.m. and departing early the following morning; smaller trucks return late afternoon and depart the next morning.
The motion was made by Eric Taylor and seconded by Todd Brice; the vote was 5–0.
The restrictions are intended to balance the business’s operational needs with neighborhood and zoning standards; the Board asked the applicant to continue repairs to fencing and property appearance as discussed during the hearing.
