Board takes no action on 9 Browns Court Open Development Area after emergency-access concerns

Resident questions about the status of an application for 9 Browns Court drew an explanation from the town attorney and board. Town Attorney (identified in meeting materials as Peterson) explained that because the town board is not adopting the required resolution at this meeting, the property will not be approved as an Open Development Area now. He noted the decision not to act does not permanently bar the landowner or a future owner from making a new application — a later board could reach a different conclusion if circumstances change.

Resident Nathan Deli asked whether the town could take a formal "no" action to prevent repeated uncertainty when the property changes hands; the board said it could consider that but noted future boards retain discretion. The town said it will publish agendas online and will attempt to notify interested parties if the item is reintroduced.
