Chairman Weissman called the Piscataway Zoning Board of Adjustment to order and the board moved quickly through routine business, adjourning several hearings, approving prior resolutions and directing staff on follow-up steps before adjourning at about 7:03 p.m.
Kinneally, the township clerk, told the board that “we have a number of changes to the agenda,” and listed several scheduling changes. Snack Innovations, 1692 South Washington Avenue, was adjourned until April 23 with no further notice; NDK Realty on South Washington Avenue was adjourned until April 23, 2026 with no further notice. Kinneally said MSN Pharmaceuticals on Duke Road would not be heard by the zoning board and has been moved to the Planning Board.
On the matter of 51 New England Avenue, Kinneally recommended that the board authorize him to contact the applicant and tell them that “if they are not ready to proceed on June 25th and they have not paid their escrow fees, that the matter will be dismissed.” The chair instructed Kinneally to take that action without a separate vote.
Under agenda item 10 the board adopted resolutions from the regular meeting of March 12, 2025; the clerk recorded affirmative responses from Mr. Tillery, Mr. O'Reggio, Mr. Mitterando and Chairman Weissman. The clerk noted one of the approved items as a resolution concerning Jose Castro.
Members briefly addressed the adoption of minutes listed as March 12, 2025, with a participant pointing out that the minutes should read 2026, prompting a short clarification. A motion to adjourn was made and seconded, and the meeting ended at approximately 7:03 p.m.
The board did not take additional substantive actions or introduce new applications at this meeting. Kinneally will follow up with applicants as authorized and the adjourned matters will return on the dates noted or, in the case of MSN Pharmaceuticals, before the Planning Board.
