Christina Hullquist, Ace Fund executive director, told the municipal committee the Ace Fund evaluation committee will present a recommended list of two pilot projects and seven capital projects for the Assembly to consider at its upcoming Tuesday meeting. "We are really excited — the evaluation committee is recommending pilots and capitals," Hullquist said, and she invited members to review the packet and raise questions at the Assembly meeting.
The Ace Fund staff said they are monitoring early-educator subsidy spending and have identified roughly $125,000 that is unlikely to be spent this year. The committee recommended reallocating that amount to fully fund one of the remaining capital projects if the Assembly approves the packet.
Hullquist offered to be available for questions before or during the Assembly meeting and said staff will make any necessary revisions to funding allocations after the Assembly’s action. The committee did not take a final vote on the Ace Fund packet during this session; the formal action will occur when the Assembly considers the recommendation.
