The Madison County Commission on Jan. 6 voted to continue the Bus Barn contract item to the next meeting so the county attorney’s office can complete a standardized contract template.
Colton Lauer, attorney for Madison County, participated via WebEx and informed the commission that his office is developing a county-standardized contract for use in the Bus Barn matter. Commissioner William A. Todd moved to continue consideration until next week; Commissioner Duke W. Gilman seconded the motion. The motion passed with For: William Todd, Ron Nye, Duke Gilman.
No substantive changes to contract terms were recorded in the minutes; the attorney indicated further work is underway and the board tabled the item to allow for review of the standardized form.
