The Blaine City Council approved an on-sale and Sunday intoxicating liquor license for a new restaurant, Stella’s Blaine at 45 Pheasant Ridge Drive.
Clerk Sorensen summarized the application, saying Jose Rubio submitted the required materials, paid fees and that the Blaine Police Department’s background check raised no concerns. The clerk noted the license would run through June 30 and then align with annual licensure renewals.
No members of the public offered comment during the required public hearing. Moved by Councilmember Newell and seconded by Councilmember Robertson, the council approved the license by voice vote.
Clerk Sorensen said the license is contingent on the restaurant meeting remaining city requirements and that information will be forwarded to the State.
