The Madison County Board of Commissioners voted Jan. 6 to provide a letter of support for the Virginia City Schoolhouse Window Restoration Project.
Sheri Jarvis, representing the Virginia City Schoolhouse Foundation, provided information on the grant application process and requested the county’s letter of support. Commissioner William A. Todd moved to approve the letter of support to accompany an application to the Foundation for Montana History; Commissioner Duke W. Gilman seconded the motion. The vote was recorded For: Ron Nye, William Todd, Duke Gilman; the motion passed.
The letter of support will be provided to the foundation as part of the applicant’s grant submission. The minutes do not record the grant amount sought or additional funding partners.
