The North Fond du Lac Village Board unanimously approved a set of routine but formal actions at its Aug. 4 meeting, including authorization to issue up to $95,234 in taxable general obligation water system promissory notes and adoption of an amendment to the village's chicken-keeping ordinance.
The board voted 5-0 on Resolution-09-2025, which authorizes issuance and sale of up to $95,234 in taxable general obligation water system promissory notes, series 2025A, "and provides for other details and covenants with respect thereto," as described in the resolution. Trustee Chuck Hornung moved the resolution and Trustee John Duffy seconded; the motion passed on a recorded "5 ayes" vote.
On the ordinance, the board considered Ordinance-2025-08, a second-reading amendment to Village Ordinance 14.05(11)(d)3 addressing the keeping of chickens. Trustee John Duffy moved to adopt the ordinance and Trustee Gary Schaub seconded. A roll call vote was recorded as Duffy 'yes, Hornung 'yes, Streetar 'yes, Schaub 'yes, Will 'yes; the ordinance was adopted.
The consent agenda also included routine items: approval of the July 21, 2025 minutes, authorization of invoices, and an operator license for Brandon Fowler of R-Store, 104 Amory St. Trustee Mike Will moved to approve the consent items; Trustee Gary Schaub seconded. The operator license item passed on a 5-0 voice vote.
