Papus said the tourism team will promote overnight stays to capture additional visitor nights and described paid and earned media placements aimed at Phoenix–Tucson markets in the runup to the holiday. Council members praised the detailed transportation and safety planning and encouraged broad community outreach about route maps and multimodal access.
