The interim code adds a new section to the subdivision chapter, applies the city’s short‑plat process, and clarifies permit types and definitions.
The renewal would remain in effect through December 30 if adopted, giving staff more time to complete Phase 2 community engagement and refinement. Council members asked for a clerical correction to a stated calendar date and then voted to schedule the second reading.
