The council discussed a two-hour live-act slot and a fireworks display expected to start near 9 p.m. on June 28; staff said the musical slot would run roughly 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with fireworks starting at approximately 9:00 p.m., and that event setup and vendor coordination were underway.
Council asked businesses to post event details to the city calendar so staff could centralize outreach and to help distribute information ahead of the event.
