The Plymouth Conservation Commission unanimously approved a Notice of Intent from Grady Consulting to repair the existing dock and replace pilings at 0 Clarks Island.
Paul Seaberg of Grady Consulting said most work will be performed from a barge and that existing floats will remain unchanged; the project holds a Chapter 91 license. Staff noted a February NHESP determination that the proposal, as submitted, will not adversely affect Resource Area Habitat for state‑listed rare wildlife species, and the Division of Marine Fisheries provided recommendations concerning minimum pile clearance above mapped shellfish habitat (staff cited a 2.5‑foot minimum clearance recommendation). The Commission asked the applicant to revise plans to show where floats will be stored in winter and to depict equipment and material staging areas upland from the project site. The Commission voted 7–0 to approve the proposed dock repairs.
