Board adopts revised administrative manual and approves prior meeting minutes

The California Board of Naturopathic Medicine approved an updated administrative manual and voted to adopt the Oct. 8, 2025 meeting minutes during its Nov. 19 session.
Rebecca, board staff, described edits to the administrative manual including updated references to "board member" in place of an older "committee member" reference and teleconference procedure clarifications. "If we were to vote to approve, we'd be approving it with that edit," she said. Dr. Mina Yun moved approval; Dr. Deparshi Mukerji seconded; the board adopted the manual in a roll-call vote (5-0).
The board also considered approval of the Oct. 8 minutes. Members clarified a recorded vote and attendance discrepancy in the earlier minutes; after confirming the record the board took a roll-call vote and approved the minutes (four "yes," one abstention recorded by Dr. Mina Yun). The board announced the approved administrative manual will be attached to the sunset report.
