"Once the vehicles have been identified ... we're going to tag the vehicle. Once the vehicle's been tagged, the resident has 10 days to move the vehicle from the street. After that 10 day, we come back on the 11 day and we tow the vehicle," Officer Bird told the council.
Officer Bird described coordination with tow companies and district-by-district sweep plans. Councilors praised the effort, urged early communication through the city's communications team and referenced local cleanup campaigns that could partner with the program.
