Jackson Public Schools celebrates scholars, STEAM winners and new industry partnerships

The board also heard from students and teachers about STEAM and science fair projects — projects ranged from chemical‑reaction demonstrations to enzyme experiments — and organizers described how expos and career events connect scholars to internships, postsecondary options and industry careers. Dr. Green and other speakers spotlighted a new industry partnership with Nissan to provide subject‑matter instructors and equipment for advanced manufacturing training at the Ever’s Career Development Center.
Administrators framed the events as part of broader district efforts to expand career pathways, dual enrollment and hands‑on learning so students can graduate with credentials and college credits. The board acknowledged scholars and community partners with applause and several trustees thanked staff and community organizations for supporting students.
