Staff confirmed the submitted drawings met the town’s sign regulations under section 265‑7 and the board classified each action as a SEQR Type II action, meaning no further environmental review was required.
Representatives described the work as replacements or rebrands of existing signs and indicated most would be non‑illuminated or use subdued back‑lighting. Steve Stanley said the Lucky X Strike package includes internally lit aluminum channel letters and a revised pylon face; Jerry Fano described his Tempo sign as back‑glow letters intended to be subtle and not distracting to drivers. No members of the public objected during the brief presentations and each item passed on a motion and second.
The approvals include standard conditions that work conform to the submitted drawings and to any applicable agency requirements. Applicants were reminded by board staff to obtain any separate permits required by county or state agencies prior to installation.
