Wauseon council approves emergency agreement to offer direct primary care for city employees

The Wauseon City Council on an emergency vote approved a resolution authorizing the mayor to enter into an employer-sponsored direct primary care agreement with Nexus Growth Solutions LLC d/b/a Nexus Health Connect, with the council recording the measure to take effect Aug. 1.

Councilor Heising moved to place Resolution 2024-8 on emergency reading; Councilor Tyina seconded the motion. After a roll-call affirmation from council members, the motion carried 5–0.
