Council reads resident questions listing six approved cannabis dispensaries and recent township cannabis tax receipts

The clerk read six approved retail dispensaries by name: Quality Cannabis (1610 North Black Pike); Flower and Flame (601 College Drive); Honeyroveve (1337 Blackwood Clement Road); Blackwood Wellness (816 North Blackhorse Pike); MPX Dispensary (581 Berlin–Crosky Road); and Unity Road SNJ LLC (2751 Cichler/Cichlerville Road) — the clerk noted the last address is approved but not yet built.
The clerk also read the township’s reported tax receipts from cannabis retail sales, stating $38,960 for 2024 and an amount read for 2025. The clerk said there were no pending zoning, planning or council approvals for additional cannabis retail licenses at the time of the meeting and that the township currently has no limit on the number of licenses it will permit.
The council did not take regulatory or licensing action during the meeting; the item was read as part of resident-submitted (eGov) questions.
