Board approves large road payments, project updates and adds Veil Moran Road to four-year plan

Avant updated supervisors on State Aid project closeouts (including the Old Port Gibson Road bridge and Woodbine Road bridge) and said state-aid comments on bridge plans were expected this week. He noted environmental assessments were in progress where required and advised that paving should follow bridge construction so new paving is not damaged.
Later in the meeting supervisors added Veil (Bella) Moran Road to the county's four-year road plan and directed staff to solicit vendor quotes for the work. The board voted to add the road to the plan and to request quotes.
