Dunn County tables SW Water Authority distribution study after preliminary presentation

Justin Froseth, SW Water Project Manager, and Jen Murray, CEO of the SW Water Authority, joined the meeting via Teams to present preliminary results of a distribution system improvements, waiting list and distribution system limitations study intended to serve users on the Dunn County waitlist.
Froseth and Murray said the study covered seven different service areas in the county and addressed distribution mainline limitations only (the study does not include service lines to individual users). Commissioners asked for time to review the preliminary results, and Commissioner Olson moved, seconded by Commissioner Kleemann, to table the matter so members could review the study; the motion passed unanimously.
The board did not take any funding action at the meeting and did not request additional analysis on specific service areas during the discussion. The item will return to a future meeting after commissioners have had time to review the study materials.
