The Village of Sussex Finance & Personnel Evaluation Committee on May 5 recommended that the Village Board approve the April Check Register and P-Card statement totaling $1,736,176.68. Trustee Ben Jarvis moved the recommendation and Member Michael Carlson seconded; the motion carried 4-0.
The recommendation covers the committee's routine review of accounts payable and purchase-card activity for the period. Committee members did not record objections during public proceedings. The committee’s approval means the item will be placed on a future Village Board agenda for final action.
Trustee Ben Jarvis initiated the motion and Member Michael Carlson seconded. The committee’s recorded vote was Scott Adkins — yes; Ben Jarvis — yes; Robert Landgraf — yes; Michael Carlson — yes. No abstentions were recorded.
The committee also approved other routine meeting business at the May 5 session, including minutes and other consent items. The Village Clerk/Treasurer filed the minutes following adjournment.
