The Village of Sussex Public Works Committee on April 7 recommended Village Board approval of bills for payment totaling $666,093.47 and approved several routine items related to the 2027 road program and special-event road closures.
Trustee Scott Adkins moved, and Trustee Lee Uecker seconded, a recommendation that the Village Board approve bills for payment totaling $666,093.47; the motion was recorded as carried 3-0. The committee then recommended approval of a Geotechnical Services Contract for the 2027 Road Program with a 10% contingency for $18,502.00 (motion by Adkins, seconded by President Anthony LeDonne); the motion carried 3-0. The committee also recommended approval of Resolution 26-08, a road-closure resolution for special events (motion by Adkins, seconded by Uecker); the motion carried 3-0.
No Utility Items or Other Public Works Items were recorded for consideration. The committee accepted the Engineer27s Report; staff reported the items noted above and a developer27s agreement for the Pheasant Farm subdivision was also forwarded to the Village Board for a public hearing later in the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
