EDP Renewables says it will seek permit as Dodge County pauses solar applications

No formal board action to change the pause was taken at the Nov. 4 meeting; the item was discussed as both an agenda note (a suggestion to review the ordinance) and as part of public comment when the developer signaled intent to apply for a permit. The board did not vote to lift the pause during the meeting.
If the board pursues an ordinance update, commissioners indicated a work session or committee would be the next procedural step; timing was not set during the meeting.
