Planning commission recommends Strait subdivision to city council
Summary

Commissioners discussed the outstanding items, confirmed the development agreement includes a requirement to pave the road, and clarified that the planning commission must recommend the plat to the city council for final approval. Commissioner Kristen Mortensen moved that the commission recommend approval of the Strait subdivision to the city council; a commissioner seconded and commissioners voiced support to forward the recommendation.
The commission’s recommendation does not itself record final council action; staff will forward the commission’s recommendation and the signed development agreement to the city council for final plat approval.
Staff and the developer indicated they will proceed with final submittals to the council and ensure the paving requirement is met per the development agreement.
